Former Chelsea player Jody Morris is said to be under consideration for the managerial job at Welsh team Swansea City. The English Championship outfit don't have a manager with less than two weeks before the new season starts after Simon Cooper left the job last week.

Cooper was the man who replaced present Brighton and Hove Albion manager Graham Potter at Swansea City when he left the Welsh team to take up the managerial role at the Amex Stadium. Cooper led the former Premier League team to the Championship playoffs in each of his two seasons at the club including last season when the Swans went all the way to the final before they were easily dispatched by Brentford. Swansea City missed out on a place in the Premier League as a result of the 2-0 defeat to London team Brentford.

Newcastle United are eyeing a move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher who has been likened to club legend Frank Lampard due to his playing style. The Daily Telegraph reported that Magpies boss Steve Bruce is keen on a loan move for Gallagher as he bolsters his squad for the new campaign starting next month.

Former West Brom boss SlavenBilic is one of several football stakeholders who have drawn similarities between Gallagher and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard. Frank Lampard is the all-time leading goalscorer in the history of West London giants Chelsea and he was their manager for 18 months until January when he was sacked. German tactician Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard as the Blues manager shortly after his sack and he went on to lead the Premier League giants to a second Champions League title.

Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is currently without a club he manages and has been out of job since he was sacked by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic some months ago. Aston Villa assistant manager John Terry is certain thatfellow Chelsea legend Frank Lampard played a big part in the successes recorded at the club this season despite his dismissal as the Chelsea manager in January.

Frank Lampard was sacked by club owner Roman Abramovich after a difficult run in the league. He oversaw just three wins in his final 11 games in the Premier League and that ultimately led to his unfortunate exit.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is reportedly leading the hunt for a new manager at Premier League side Crystal Palace. South London giants Crystal Palace are looking for a new manager with current boss Roy Hodgson set to leave this summer at the end of his contract with the Selhurst Park outfit.

The report from the Daily Telegraph stated that Frank Lampard is at the top of the list of managerial targets for Palace in their quest to find a suitable replacement for Hodgson who has led them to mid-table in each of the last three seasons in the Premier League. Hodgson replaced Dutchman Frank De Boer after the Ajax Amsterdam legend was sacked after just four games.

TUCHEL, CLEAR UPGRADE ON LAMPARD

Eyebrows were raised in English football when club legend Frank Lampard was sacked as the Chelsea manager and replaced by Thomas Tuchel at the start of the year. A lot of football stakeholders questioned the decision and whether it was the right one or not.

The events of the three months that followed the decision have gone a long way to silence the doubters who had issues with the appointment of Tuchel in the place of the sacked Frank Lampard. This is mainly due to the performance of German tactician Tuchel since he took the job in January.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is reportedly on a three-man managerial shortlist at Crystal Palace ahead of the new season which starts in August. This is according to the report from Football Insider which revealed that Frank Lampard is on the shortlist alongside Eddie Howe and Burnley boss Sean Dyche.

South Londoners Palace have started the search for a new manager with current manager Roy Hodgson set to retire when his contract is up this summer. 73-year-old Hodgson is expected to announce his retirement soonest.

TUCHEL DEMANDS FOR LAMPARD TARGETS

New Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has asked for the same transfer targets demanded by his predecessor, Frank Lampard. Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard as the Blues boss at the start of this year and has led the club to an unbeaten run spanning 14 games in all competitions. The unbeaten sequence includes victories at fellow London team Tottenham Hotspur and holders Liverpool in the league as well as Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Ex-Borussia Dortmund and PSG manager Tuchel has been able to rescue Chelsea's season since he was appointed as the replacement for the sacked Frank Lampard.
