PULISIC IS BEING WASTED UNDER LAMPARD

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic should not be playing for the West London giants at this moment according to Former United States of America international Alexis Lalas. According to him, Pulisic is too good for the present Chelsea team and that the ex-Borussia Dortmund forward is being wasted under Blues manager Frank Lampard.

Alexis Lalas talked about Christian Pulisic, Frank Lampard and Chelsea on the State of the Union podcast.
Alexis Lalas buttressed his point by saying that Christian Pulisic was the only player who tried to change the game for the Chelsea during the defeat to Manchester City in their last league game and that he needs better players around him. Chelsea were well beaten by Manchester City to show the difference between the two teams at the moment.

Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne and IlkayGundogan were all on the scoresheet for Manchester City who beat Chelsea 3-1 away from home to heap more pressure on Frank Lampard in his bid to continue in his position as the Blues manager. England international winger Callum Hudson-Odoi came off the bench to score Chelsea’s goal in the second after Manchester City had done all the damage with their three first half goals.
Christian Pulisic is in his second season at Chelsea having joined from Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga for big money. He scored 11 goals in 34 games for Chelsea in his debut season last term as he was one of the Blues’ best players. The American player has not been able to reprise that form this season as he has been restricted to just two goals in 13 games in all competitions. The lack of goals for Pulisic has led 96-cap Ex-American international Alexis Lalas to question the quality of the Chelsea squad under current boss Frank Lampard.
